Who we are

Vital Link Healthcare, P.C. (“Vital Link,” “we,” or “us”) is a professional medical corporation. Our licensed clinicians provide telehealth care to patients of the telehealth companies, health brands, and employers we partner with. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information through vitallink.healthcare and any page that links to this policy (the “Site”).

Health information and HIPAA

The Site is a website for businesses and the public. It is not a patient portal and is not designed to collect health information, so please don't send us health information through our forms or by email.

As a healthcare provider, Vital Link is a “covered entity” under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Protected health information we receive when we provide care is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy. If this policy ever conflicts with HIPAA for protected health information, HIPAA controls.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect your name, work email, company, and website, along with details about your program such as the treatment categories you offer, expected volume, and the states you need. We also keep the messages you send us.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Information from others. We may receive business contact information from partners, event organizers, and publicly available sources.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and evaluate potential partnerships;
  • provide, manage, and improve our services and the Site;
  • send business communications, which you can opt out of at any time;
  • keep the Site secure and prevent fraud or misuse; and
  • comply with the law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:

  • with service providers that host the Site, manage our customer relationships, or send email for us, under contracts that limit their use of the information;
  • with our affiliated companies when needed to respond to you;
  • when required by law or legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users, patients, or others;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy; and
  • with your consent.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to run and secure it. If we add analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this policy before we do. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify it.

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypting data in transit with HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing, or use for targeted advertising or profiling. You may also appeal if we deny your request.

To make a request, email contact@vitallink.healthcare or call (813) 618-6485. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the message.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and if the changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
